Sweet summertime has finally arrived and whether you off to work or are headed to the beach for some fun in the sun, you want to stay on trend. You probably are looking for something simple that you already have in your closet. Well, you are in good company. Who doesn’t love being fashionable while saving money?

This summer’s go to color is blue, a few shades of which are already in your closet. The universal appeal of black is that it goes with any and everything. Black was everyone’s go to color but I am here to tell you that blue is the new black. Blue is a great color and a must-have in any closet. Blue goes with all skin tones and styles. Multiple shades of blue were found on the runways this year; from Navy, Monaco, to Pastel. So, take the time to find which blue is right for you. Mix it up and try different shades. Whichever color you choose, you want it to complement those gorgeous eyes.

Whether you are in the office or in the sun, be sure to incorporate blue in your outfit. You will be on trend with this great color.

    Hi Diana,

    That's very true - blue is very cool and soothing for the eyes, and makes a great color to wear in the summer because of it's cooling effect. I love sky blue and shades of blue as well.

    Hi Diana,

    I'm happy that blue is the go-to color for this summer and hopefully will continue because I love it, it's my favorite.

    This is evidenced by my closet being filled with just about every shade of blue possible!

    Good to know the official word on it. I have blonde hair and blue eyes and a lot of folks with this combination wear a lot of blue, I think.
